Friends of the Summit County Library are sponsoring an art group called CATS (Creating Art Together Socially) in January and February 2025.

It will be held on the second and fourth Friday afternoons from noon until 3:00 p.m. in Room 133 (next to the DMV) at the Kimball Junction Branch Library (Jan. 10, 24, Feb. 14, 28).

It will be led by two local artists: Lynda McGuire and Heike Quinn.

Art covers many categories: Painting of all kinds, jewelry, bead and stone work, floral arrangements, mixed media, fabric design, coloring, drawing, card creation, scrapbooking, table centerpieces, and much more. We invite you to join us and bring your craft projects to work on. We have work tables for you and lots of encouragement and camaraderie to share. MAGIC HAPPENS WHEN CREATIVE GROUPS GATHER!

If you don't have a project to work on, or if you don't know what to do, or how to get started--don't worry. Please stop by and we will help you with some ideas and get you going on an art piece that will be creative and fun.
