Book to Film Club (After Yang)

Join us for a free screening of After Yang (PG, 101 minutes) in the Kimball Junction Branch auditorium. The film is based on the short story Saying Goodbye to Yang which is included in the short story collection Children of the New World by Alexander Weinstein. After the screening, we will have an optional discussion about the short story and the film. The e-book is always available on Libby, and the book is also available to check out. 

Synopsis: When his young daughter's beloved companion, an android named Yang, malfunctions, Jake searches for a way to repair it. In the process, Jake discovers the life that has been passing before him as he reconnects with his wife and daughter.
