Classic Film Club at Kamas (It Happened One Night)

Join us in celebrating the Golden Age of Hollywood! We will provide a brief background and discussion of the film before each screening. Meets every 3rd Thursday of the month at 6 pm. Popcorn and treats provided! This month we will watch Frank Capra's It Happened One Night (1934, 105 mins, rated G), starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. 

This classic comedy features a spoiled heiress on the lam from her father, and the gruff reporter who hooks up with her as they travel northward, engage in a series of misadventures and begin to fall for each other. The first film to sweep all five major Oscars: Best Picture, Director (Capra), Screenplay (Robert Riskin), Actor (Clark Gable) and Actress (Claudette Colbert).
