Free Speech -- Social Media, Censorship, Hate Speech, Fake News, Government Regulations
Are Facebook, and TikTok public utilities or media companies? Can Facebook be forced to post content it considers extreme by the regulations of a state who regards it as a public utility? Is TikTok's pushing video content into your feed the same as a bookstore that chooses to put selected titles by the checkouts? What responsibiities do consumers have regarding their consumption of speech? A wide range of views is likely to surface in our discussion time. Click here for a video preview of the topic.
Guest Speaker: Don Rogers, Editor of the Park Record
